Epic Shift (2026)
An epic encounter in the most ordinary place.
This project explores what happens when the language of mythology suddenly enters everyday life. A supermarket cashier is moving through an ordinary shift — scanning products, hearing the repetitive checkout beeps, dealing with one customer after another — until she looks up and finds Agamemnon standing in front of her.
Instead of placing the legendary king on a battlefield, surrounded by armies and heroic imagery, the story drops him into one of the most familiar and mundane situations possible: grocery shopping.
The contrast is the core of the project. Agamemnon keeps his imposing, almost monumental presence while doing something completely normal, turning a simple interaction at the checkout into an unexpectedly cinematic and absurd moment.
Created through generative AI, the project combines historical imagery, contemporary environments and visual storytelling to play with scale, context and expectation. The goal was to make the scene feel believable enough to exist, while keeping the situation intentionally surreal and humorous.
A small everyday moment becomes an epic encounter — not because something extraordinary happens, but simply because the wrong person appears in the right place.
